Alexandra Glossner
Hey! I’m Alex Glossner (she/her/hers). I’m 33 years old & based in Northern Kentucky, about 25 miles from Cincinnati. I live with my husband, Stephen, & our 6-year-old Goldendoodle, Maisie Gray! (Yes, she’s named after corn & also the 90’s singer Macy Gray…please don’t judge me & leave…YET). We have recently expanded our family by 4 paws! Another Goldendoodle puppy, Millie Rose (you know…like Lily Rose Depp? Yeah, yeah, I know, I know…I’m a bit on the side of the coo-coo banana.) Oh, & a dumpster truck FULL of anxiety.
I was an English teacher (6th-8th English/Language Arts; High School English) here in NKY for the past 6 years. But, like many of you (I’m sure), the pandemic threw me for a loop. I sought a work environment where I felt I was in a safer & more healthy work environment. I spent the last year working at a tutoring center 3 mins. from my house! Doesn’t get much better than that! I ran a program that assists students through NTI (non-traditional instruction) / Remote Learning & tutored students using Orton-Gillingham. I loved that I still get to work with students every. Single. Day. It was a change, but still very rewarding.
Now, I’m working as an Education Project Manager & Publishing Manager with LETSCincy & Influence Network Media. It is truly a dream come true!
I look forward to connecting with you all & hope that my stories & experiences provide some comfort & hope, & make you feel less alone.
Welcome; I’m glad you’re here.
~ Much love, & hope for a return of the light. ~
